DBE INTERNSHIPS

INTERNSHIP REGULATION

The internship has a dual purpose:

1.  Educational, as it aims to deepen and expand the knowledge acquired during the course of study;

2.  Orientational, as it provides the opportunity for a direct knowledge of the professional world.

RULES GOVERNING THE INTERNSHIP

To consult the legal regulations governing the subject, see the UNINA website page. The aforementioned regulations are integrated b the internship regulations of the Department of Architecture: DiARC INTERNSHIPS REGULATIONS LINK

COMMISSION AND REFERENTS

The Internship Commission of the Degree Course (DBE) is composed of Prof. Ramon Rispoli and Prof. Ivo Caruso.

The Commission performs the following functions:

1.  verifies the conformity of the proposals presented by the students and authorizes the subsequent procedures requested by the University to start the internship;

2.  verifies, at the end of the internship, that the required documentation is complete;

3.  transmits the documentation favorably examined to the student secretariat, that provides for the loading of the credits;

4.  interacts with the Didactic Commission of the Department on topics and issues of common interest.

The administrative referent for internships of the Department of Architecture is Dr. Laura Allagrande.

The calendar of meetings is available on the Teams DBE INTERNSHIPS / TIROCINI DBE (Team code: m1ozxiw)

The commission meets periodically to analyse the documents uploaded on the Team (without the participation of the students).

DURATION OF THE INTERNSHIP

The DBE Degree Course provides a compulsory curricular training internship lasting 100 hours of activity (correspondent to 4 CFU).

If the hours of activity provided are not completed within the time initially indicated, the student must submit a request for extension (form “richiesta di proroga/interruzione tirocinio curricolare”, available at this link), with the same methods of transmission of the training project. The same form should also be used in the event of interruption of the interniship.

TYPES OF INTERNSHIP

The students, in relation to their competences and interests, choose the type of internship, EXTRAMOENIA or INTRAMOENIA, that they intend to activate.

EXTRAMOENIA INTERNSHIP: takes place at a host subject other than the University Federico II, affiliated with the University.

INTRAMOENIA INTERNSHIP: takes place at the structures of the University Federico II (Departments, Interdepartmental Centers, Technical Offices, etc.) in the context of ongoing research or teaching initiatives.

ERASMUS TRAINEESHIP: students who are carrying out an Erasmus project, or are engaged in other international mobility programs, will be able to carry out the internship within the Erasmus Traineeship project or Erasmus+ (where the learning agreement allows for it), or within the international programs of the University in which internships are provided. Any problems can be sorted out with the Erasmus referent of Diarc (Prof. Cristina Mattiucci).
